Situated on level 33 of The Shard, Hutong at The Shard serves the fascinating and diverse cuisines of Northern China and is based on the much-loved restaurant of the same name in Hong Kong. Hutong at The Shard’s cuisine takes its inspiration from the dishes served in the imperial palaces of what was then Peking. Based on the ‘Lu school’ cuisine of Shandong Province, the menu artfully captures the subtlety and surprises of Northern Chinese cooking. A cocktail selection inspired by ingredients used in traditional Chinese medicine and stunning interior, complete with traditional Chinese red lanterns and beautiful hand-carved wood-panelled ‘Moon Gates’, offer London diners a new destination restaurant with panoramic views over London’s skyline. Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We’ve long loved Canary Wharf and it's rich history of the nearby Docklands and Billingsgate Market, yet Blacklock in a glass tower never quite fit. One look at an old disused warehouse nestled cosily in the corner of Canary Wharf underneath the train tracks of the North Dock and we knew we had found home. Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant at dock-level is joined by a 120-seat waterside bar. Both include terraces with views across the water (squint your eyes and you might just see the ghosts of great ships laden with mighty lengths of timber that used to swing in and unload there). There's also a private dining room for up to 20 people named after the local legend Queenie Watts, a singer, songwriter, actor and self-confessed bawdy landlady (think Peggy Mitchell meets Joni Mitchell). The menu revolves around the best British produce the country has to offer with grass-fed dry-aged ethically reared beef, sustainable seafood from the South coast and some of the biggest hits from the Hawksmoor New York menu.

Had a smashing lunch with a friend. First time visiting other than for a Sunday roast. Place was buzzing. Thoroughly enjoyed my ribeye, beef dripping chips and broccoli and walnut salad with a nice bottle of red. Good service and not rushed. Very decent value too Will be back.

Ahhh you lovely Hawsmoor folks, you still maintain a really high standard. There's plenty of competition around these days but my heart is with you. The service was friendly, attentive and personable. You didn't constantly refill my wine glass, pushing wine hard happens in virtually every restaurant these days, I hate it. I recently visited Blacklock in Canary Wharf with three friends, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The atmosphere was vibrant yet cozy, and the service was truly exceptional. Our waiter, Marcell, was attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. Manager Angel also came by to check on us, adding a personal touch that we really appreciated. The food was top-notch—delicious, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. From start to finish, everything was just fab! Highly recommend for a memorable dining experience.
