- SSuzanneHouston •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoAbsolutely lovely. A good friend and I love to have tea together and saw this on an Instagram post. The sandwiches were delicious, scones were yummy, dessert was great. But honestly it’s the TEA I can’t stop thinking about. The Cream Earl Grey was so fantastic I asked if they sold it. We learned they have a special tea consultant (that’s not the term but I can’t recall.) We also received a glass of champagne on arrival and each of us tried a cocktail which were both unique and delicious. Service was warm and friendly. Will return!More infoEmma JanePrice: Expensive• Contemporary French / American• River Oaks•4.7
- DDanielHouston •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe really dug the vibe. The interior is really stylish. The only thing we thought that was lacking was our particular server’s service. When I requested a second cocktail and asked him to surprise me with something vodka based, he brought a “French 76”, made with vodka instead of gin. Notwithstanding whether or not such a drink exists vis a vis the known “French 75” drink, he should have known that I had JUST finished a French 75, in part because I had the same gin style glass on my table. This is not service I would expect from a Michelin level restaurant (I know this one did not get one, but maybe you are gunning for it), many of which me and my wife have been too, including multiple Three Star restaurants! The waiter should be more aware as being delivered such a drink might be thought of as being lazy or dismissive towards the diner. My wife and I are well prepared to pay large amounts for a top notch dinner as well, and we are more likely to do so when a restaurant succeeds in ALL categories.More infoThe Marigold ClubPrice: Very Expensive• French• Montrose•4.6
- RRichHouston •8 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWhen we arrived at peak dinner hour (6:30) the dining are was nearly full and there were two goups (3 and 8) next to eachother and competing to talk above the other. The room is acoustically live and this was quite annoying. When the larger group left everything settled down to a very comfortable level. The food was excellent, especially the cassoulet special and the beef short rib! Service was good, especially the presentation of the cassoulet by chef Greg and his follow up visit with our table. - OTOpenTable DinerHouston •6 reviews5.0Dined on Jun 16, 2024We have enjoyed the ambience. We had an outstanding pasta off the menu, which reminded me of the time spent in italy in portofino. Chef introduced himself and made a special dish for us . Loved the food. We will be backMore infoGiorgio's Bar & Table at the Hotel GranducaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Galleria / Uptown•4.6
