- JJulieVictoria •6 reviews5.0Dined todayOverall a great place for brunch. The presentation of food was excellent. Sat outside. Very windy but still pleasant although table was sticky which was annoying. Some food under table drew ants. But; great coffee & food was delicious and a different take on than the normal most cafes have. Could do with a breakie burger though! Scones worth trying. Excellent shop and nursery to browse through after. Picked up some nice gifts & rustic things for the garden. Nice to see it’s dog friendly too. Did have to wait a while for scones although waitress did follow up when she realised we hadn’t got them after some time. Would visit again though! Also, had a sneaky wine or cocktail on offer which I’ll try next visit. Did get great help from gift shop lady when trying to decide on fragrance.More infoPaperbark CafePrice: Moderate• Australian• Montrose•4.5

Thankyou for all the special birthday bubbles, greetings and birthday chocolate which added to the great tasting food, well presented and very delicious. Warming to see so many people enjoying the homestead gardens and we enjoyed the Melba museum. Thank youMore infoCoombe Yarra ValleyPrice: Expensive• Modern Australian• Coldstream•4.8
- MMandyMelbourne •6 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe love going to The Barre when we go to a production at Hamer Hall. The food is always delicious and a pre dinner cocktail is a treat. Happy Hour is a wonderful offering. Service is great. I thoroughly recommend a visit to The Barre.More infoThe BarrePrice: Moderate• Modern Australian• Southbank•4.2
- DDelMelbourne •1 review4.0Dined on Mar 22, 2025We dined on Saturday evening. The food is not too fancy. Pretty straight forward. Good servings. The entrees were basic, fried cauliflower & calamari. The broccoli with the main (chicken) was not cooked, could cut it with a knife so had to leave it. The chicken was fine and tasty, my partner had the beef cheek, on mashed potatoe, he said it was good. The dessert was white chol. metifluer (can't pronounce it) too difficult to eat with a spoon, our hands were sore after trying to cut through the pastry, but it tasted nice. This is supposed to be 5 star hotel, I don't think it is. I would say it's 4 star. The server who took our order was really lovely and pleasant. The guy bringing the water around was friendly, but smelt of bad BO, and it wafted around as he was walking around, that can put you off your meal. We weren't let hungry which is a positive.More infoThe EssencePrice: Expensive• Modern Australian• Melbourne CBD•4.2
