Bastion is the 24-seat restaurant of James Beard Foundation Award Nominee Chef Josh Habiger. It is located in a separate area within the casual cocktail bar of the same name, and it is a part of the Wedgewood Houston neighborhood of Nashville, TN. Bastion's dining room features counter seating around the kitchen for parties of 2 as well as three tables for parties of 3 to 6. Bastion's small team serves a weekly set menu of six dinner courses featuring many dishes with a wide variety of flavors, ingredients, and inspirations.     This has been my 3rd or 4th time coming to Sunda, and each time the food and atmosphere has been wonderful. They have a great staff, our server Karim was nothing short of excellent and went above and beyond to accommodate us throughout the night. I will gladly return, and highly recommend Sunda to anybody and everybody!

    We were greeted by a cheerful and courteous host team that quickly escorted us to our table. The table was amazing a semi-circle booth facing the bar. I highly recommend this table if you are an appreciator of great piano bar music. Our waiter was amazing and connected with all of the guests at our table quickly. He explained all the specials a little history about some of the drinks on the menu, including the famous Brittney drink, and then proceeded to make some of his personal recommendations. I highly recommend any of the seafood or sushi selections as they have been the best we have found in town. The manager came by several times to check on us and ask if we needed anything else. Overall, the experience was excellent and we always highly recommend this restaurant on our travels through Nashville. I would recommend making reservations well in advance and if you like, live music, make sure to request an area by the bar.

    My wife and I had a wonderful experience at Etch!! The service was top notch, the food was delicious and presented exquisitely! The server knew the food and drink menu so well! They were very accommodating to my wife's gluten free needs. The red wine from Greece was amazing!! We enjoyed the cauliflower appetizer, gluten free bread rolls, Etch salad. And for the main course we had the Port and Filet, with a side of brussels sprouts. The banana flavored ice cream was delicious, being very light on the banana flavor. I hope to return soon.
