Tempo is excellent for a date, great for groups, and the bar is a perfect place for singles and people watching. The cuisine rivals higher-priced alternatives and the staff is welcoming and eager to please. The bar offers the largest selection around and the wine list pricing is the best in Waltham. We have a gorgeous private dining room that is perfect for events, corporate dinners, holiday parties and graduation celebrations. If you haven't visited us we promise you won't regret it!

    We loved the blend of small/shareable items and more substantial main courses. The baked clams and crispy cauliflower were fantastic first dishes. For the main dishes, the braised beef short ribs with Parmesan polenta— (outstanding) and the rigatoni bolognese (fantastic) were standouts. And we had to try the desserts— tirmamisu, pistachio ricotta and limoncello mascarpone were outstanding. Great service and the remodeled restaurant is comfortable and vibrant. My only feedback is the cocktails— while quite tasty— were pretty small. Overall, this is a great addition to the metrowest area.

    The food as exceptional, per usual! I hope they offer physical menus again. I do not want to pull out my phone at dinner. Also, I was sat by the door for the first time and it was freezing. I will request a seat away from the door going forward. Overall, Tempo is our FAVORITE and we will be back!

    Went to have a bite before going to TCAN concert. It was only a block away food great choice for food, service, and ambience. I would definitely recommend going there.
