Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Historic District - South

The food and wine were outstanding but the real star was the service - a really lovely experience! Good options for vegetarians and meat eaters too.

If you want a night to remember, try Elizabeth on 37th. Great dining experience from start to finish.

From start to finish the service was wonderful, we were seated almost right away and a piano player was playing ..... they were very accomodating to my disability... the restaurant is old brick walls with chandeliers for lighting, cloth tablecloths and napkins Zack was an excellent server! My daughter and son-in-law were celebrating their FIRST time to Savannah Our steaks were cooked perfectly, the demiglaze was wonderful! Mashed potatoes were excellent. my husband however had the Boursin Chicken and he didn't care for it as much he liked the Boursin cheese but not the chicken If they had not been out of Halibut he might have had that all in all it was a wonderful experience, only a short walking distance from our Inn, the Kehoe It is supposed to be haunted and my daughter felt a heavy presence like a WEIGHT on her left shoulder when she sat down.... she started reading the story of the Ghosts in the restaurant and the feeling abruptly left! She has had quite a few "encounters" before All in all I would highly recommend it and would for sure go back!!

Best dinner we have had in Savannah! Loved the She Crab soup and Shrimp & Grits!
