Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Minturn

We had a wonderful dining experience at Slope Room tonight! We took the recs from Jackie, our waitress (although she made us feel like a friend by the end of the night!) and ordered the cornbread & beef tartare for starters. They were both innovative and delicious! We then had the trout and Yukon gold mashed potatoes for our entree! The trout was light and touched on all the different palate notes! We ended the night with the s’mores baked Alaska which was divine! We loved our meal and the service and will definitely plan on returning the next time we are in Vail! MIKE FROM INDIANA…. YOU DEFINITELY MISSED THE MARK ON THIS RESTAURANT! 😂

Splendido continues to maintain its excellence, annually. Foremost, the food is ALWAYS tasty & well-prepared. Husband had agnolotti appy & Chilean sea bass entree. Bro had foie gras & sea bass. I had Nancy's scallop crudo which perfectly counterpointed my lamb rack. Highlights, agnolotti ragout, crudo freshness & crunch from the quinoa, sea bass potato broth, lamb everything, & MOCKtail menu. Another standout is that Splendido DOES NOT CHARGE for bread service. Thanks for staying classier than your peers who do charge. Service remains excellent, attentive but not invasive. Those who refilled the glasses, made sure the plates were taken away, observed our bread plate that was close to empty did so unobtrusively. Our server came to check on our satisfaction periodically such that we didn't have to look for him. Others filled in, like the sommelier, when the server wasn't available to give us the dessert menu in a timely fashion. If I had to liken Splendido to another excellent restaurant, it might be the Gramercy Tavern. Splendido's food & service is on par with Le Bernardin but with slightly less pretention, which is what I appreciate about GT.

Really enjoyed our meal here. Nice people and highly attentive waiter. Food was excellent. My wife and I split an appetizer, salad, and entree (an excellent steak preparation). All superb.

We reserved a spot in the outdoor terrace which is very nice and unique, with a Fireplace and an excellent view. The food was good and the servers were nice. A different experience for an after skiing day.

Family of 5 had a good experience here, food and service was both good and we were able to watch the football game.
