Italian inspired cuisine in a charming and beautiful country setting with outdoor dining all summer and a covered heated tent in the winter. Our stone terrace with large fireplace nestled between aromatic herb and flower gardens makes for a beautiful setting year around.Upon booking, please select either an indoor or outdoor table. "Standard" refers to an indoor table. If an outdoor table is not listed, the patio may be booked at that time. Please call us directly if your preference is not listed.Our tent is down for the summer! Tables on the patio are covered by umbrellas for protection from sun and in the case of rain.     Our first experience dining at Chez Max the evening of January 5 was excellent in every way: ambiance, food, service…everything to celebrate our 50th anniversary, complete with a glass of “bubbly” after we were seated at the table closest to the fireplace on this extremely cold evening. We are looking forward to returning in the near future!

    We celebrated my husband's birthday last night and had a wonderful time. The food was delicious and presented in a pleasing manner. The cowboy ribeye was cooked to perfection and the sides complimented the entrees. My husband loved his night out and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a special evening out.

    Our salads were delicious (caprese and caprese-esque with avocado) and the entrees outstanding. One of us had salmon with scalloped potatoes; and capellini with chicken, mozzarella and basil. Food was hot and served in a timely fashion. The house bread is hearty with great flavor.

    This was the first time for me at this restaurants. The server was excellent. The food was amazing. We had so much fun with conversation we didn’t realize that we closed the building down!!! But it didn’t feel like we were being rushed out. Top notch restaurant.
