Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Corona del Mar

We had our family Christmas Dinner here this year & managed to get a private room upstairs. Evan was fantastic taking care of our family. This was a second trip for the week as we celebrated a birthday dinner at FC on Wednesday as well. A disappointment that we were not able to get the Christmas goose on Saturday as we were told it would be available since we missed it on Wednesday...my wife's favorite. I'm not sure if the kitchen was short staffed, overwhelmed, or there was new people, but many of the dishes at our table were not cooked as requested. Both the duck & ribeye were overcooked..& we hate to send back knowing it will be thrown out. The fingerling potatoes were also quite undercooked. It won't dampen our enthusiasm for return visits, but a bit of a bummer for our family Christmas dinner.

Service and food was amazing. Waitstaff checked on us frequently. Restaurant was very accommodating to all of our needs. They stored birthday cake in freezer for a few hours until it was ready to be served. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back!

Another wonderful and festive Holiday luncheon at the Bungalow! My in-laws were in town for Malibu and we wanted to enjoy a wonderful lunch - everything was perfect - our booth, the incredible service, the food was just amazing as always, the atmosphere - could not have been better! Nice that we got visit with Jim - thank you for making us the hosts with the mostest!

We had a great meal, accompanied by great service and lovely ambiance, at the Newport Beach location this evening. Highly recommend!
