Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Laguna Beach

Wonderful! Fantastic service, wonderful view and really good food!

Our first time at five crowns. It was Valentine’s Day so it was very busy. Which was a good indication. It was well worth the wait. We had reservations. The weight was maybe 20 minutes past our reservation. The service was very good from the check-in to the server. Our servers, Will, he was very knowledgeable about everything from food to wine and dessert. If you go there, I definitely recommend the prime rib. I think it is the best I’ve ever had. And we are avid steakhouse goers. My husband had a prime rib and I had a fillet, which was also good. But next time I will definitely get the prime rib. 

Valentines dinner with my wife and two friends who eat out a lot! They too loved the entire experience. Food was great and large portions and moderately priced. Good drinks and appetizers were outstanding. Waitresses was attentive but not overly pushy. Great experience!

In spite of a dismal, rainy day, I was delighted the minute that we walked in the door. The hostess had obviously read my comments when I made our reservation, and greeted us warmly. All of my requests had been met, we were served by a charming, knowledgeable server, and we enjoyed a delicious lunch and a carafe of excellent Cabernet Sauvignon. Topping that off with a luscious dark chocolate torte and fresh- brewed coffee, our time there could not have been better. My thanks to the wonderful, caring staff and your excellent chef!
