Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Melrose Park

Not the first time at the Violet Hour-best cocktails I've had in my life. Service was top notch as always. Wish there was a bit more food but the drinks are the main focus. Pricey but sooo worth it if you enjoy fine crafted beverages.

They have a nice selection of interesting dishes, and most everything was really tasty. I did have a cocktail that was horrible though – a gin old-fashioned, which sounded interesting but was a murky blue green color and tasted like cleaning fluid. No one ever asked me if it was OK. And I don’t think we were over staying our expected time at the table, but at the end the server told us that the next table was ready for our spots when she brought the bill.

Service was exceptional. Staff was so accommodating. We were running late due to traffic and weather on a busy holiday. It was my daughter’s birthday and they still accommodated us, our server was awesome and would definitely return.

Servers were so nice and the food was like heaven on my taste buds. Best espresso martini I’ve ever had!

Outstanding all around, a Wonderful hidden gem! Love this place.
