Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Snowmass

West End Social is a lovely place for a dinner during the busy season. there is just enough variety in the menu to meet a multitude of tastes. The ambiance is nice and you cannot beat the view, so get there early. The scallops were lovely, the duck good, but a little salty. Brussel sprouts are always good and the bison burger is not to be missed.

The food was delicious. Unfortunately our service was poor. Menus left on table,app plates left when our food was served. I had to place my app plates on top of our menus . Maybe just a bad day ?

The food was fine; a bit in the unremarkable side. We both had the winter salad which was sadly overdressed. Otherwise it would have been quite good. My friend had the (deconstructed) onion soup which I found convoluted and bordering on tasteless. What makes an onion soup stand out is the deep umami of caramelised onions backed up by a strong stock. This had neither. The topping was a slice of anemic bread wrapped with unimpressive cheese (hard to tell if it was Gruyère). All that said, the people watching was the height of the meal.

Loved our food! The wait staff was exceptional! Love the ambience!
