Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Sorrento Valley

We adore the Pony Room. Chris, our server, and his team do a tremendous job making us feel welcome, helping us with menu selections, and anticipating our every need. The food last night was outstanding and we enjoyed the seasonal drinks as well. The live music is a special touch, though we sit outside where the music is a bit muted and easier for us to carry on conversation. Rancho Valencia is especially beautiful this time of year with the holiday declarations and lights. Worth the splurge!

Amaya is a truly amazing experience that you don't want to miss if you appreciate great service, delectable food and exceedingly tremendous ambiance.

I was seated in a cozy spot in front of the fireplace and had a wonderful time. The server provided attentive service, truly living up to the reputation of the Fairmont Hotel. I would love to visit again for the Holiday Afternoon Tea next year.

We had an early holiday dinner. We are vegetarian so the chef made a delicious veggie pasta for my husband! Service was excellent as well as the ambience.

The setup was great- not all tables filled at different times allowed for a more relaxed environment. There was no rush to have us depart after finishing our meal. Food was terrific, and service was very friendly and attentive. The $260 per plate makes this a one time event but worth it on that basis.
