The First In Last Out (FILO), is a family run free-house in the Old Town of Hastings. Alongside our award winning beer, we serve quality food prepared from scratch.     Always amazing experience and food is always top quality and always mouth watering. Lovely customer service, polite, clean and presentable and the upkeep in the whole restaurant is definitely worth a 5 star review.

    We were greeted by the waiter as soon as we arrived and ushered to our seat. The venue decor was amazing. The staff were very attentive. The food was fresh and tasty and also was served very quickly. This is what I call 5 star service. I will gladly come back again.

    The decoration and atmosphere were excellent. All staff were smart clean and attentive at all times. They left the right amount of time between courses to enquire if there was anything else we required. The food was beautifully cooked and hot. Delicious choices and just the right size portions... Excellent lunchtime meal -Thank you all.

    5 star place, 5 star people - felt looked after like one of the family. Seafood cooked to perfection, beautiful torta di mele, first rate espresso, well recommended Chablis.

    We had a fantastic evening with our friends. Paying to book is a nit of a rip off but we had a great place in the lounge. The musician/ singer was brilliant. The ambience and general atmosphere was perfect. The place is a bit pricey, but we didn't mind as we had such a good evening
