The Ivy restaurant has been a firm fixture on London’s dining and social scene since 1917. The restaurant and private room upstairs are the epitome of real glamour. A shimmering central dining bar in the restaurant draws admiring attention, and the signature harlequin stained-glass windows, oak panelling and striking contemporary art collection ensure the longevity of this very British of dining institutions. Having wanted to dine at The Ivy since I was 20 and now late 50's it was one of my favourite experiences in London with my children. It did not disappoint. The service was superb, the waiter quickly realised my son has special needs and reacted accordingly, without judgement or prejudice, which was a refreshing change from other London venues we have been to. The food was the best I have had in years. Thank you!

Fabulous experience again at Whitcomb's. The food was just delicious we went for the festive menu which also had nice English sparkling wine. Recommended for the fantastic service.

It was a phenomenal night. Ignore old reviews, they’re definitely out of date. The cabaret was a real showcase of amazingly talented people between singers, a circus act, comedian and burlesque dancers this place has it all. Staff were lovely throughout the night; they sat us down and it’s table service during the show so the cocktails flowed all night. The place turned into a members club after the show but we were allowed to stick around until late. Fabulous place, definitely would recommend.
