Best Live Music Restaurants in Phillipsburg

I had a wonderful first date there tonight! Good food, good company, good service.

Excellent food and service. Went for Valentines Day dinner. Great time.

The View at Morgan Hill is almost a 10/10. The food is exceptional and the price point is more affordable than most restaurants. Gabby was our server. She was kind, polite, patient and informative. I advise that if someone orders a bottle of wine that the wine is opened tableside and a taste is poured for the guest that ordered the bottle. We had the mushroom tart and shrimp bisque with the cotton candy bomb and espresso/strawberry martini. Outstanding. Then we had the filet MR and the veal osso busco with a bottle of Ocnautic Cabernet. Again outstanding. We ended with chocolate cake with hot tea and coffee. They provided complimentary prosecco. We went there for Valentines Day and it was great. My three criteria for a good restaurant are, good food, good value, and good service. The Plumsteadville Inn had all three. We had the Chilean Seabass and it was outstanding. The servers was incredibly attentive and personable and even the manager came by to check on us. Though it was a hike to get there, "over the river and through the woods", we will definitely be going back. I highly recommend this establishment.

This was a Valentine’s Day date. They sat us near the fireplace which was warm and cozy. Ask to sit elsewhere if you do not want to smell like campfire for the rest of the night lol. We did not mind it one bit and found it romantic. The atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for on Valentine’s Day. We got the Fig Toasts and shared a bowl of lobster stew (1/4 of lobster!). We Highly recommend both. I got the Boursin Filet. I would probably choose medium over medium rare next time but, it was still delicious with the Demi-Glacé and Boursin. She got the ‘Will you Marry Me’ Chicken which was topped with lumped crab meat. We were very happy with the food and service! We would return in the future for dinner or to try out their brunch menu.
