My wife got the burrata caprese salad and I had mushroom and black truffle soup. The caprese was delicate and the soup was rich and perfectly prepared. For main courses my wife had la classics lasagna napoletana, which was firm and deeply meaty, quite delicious. I had the tagliatelle don Alfronso, which was to die for. The sauce with their home grown tomatoes was exquisitely sweet and the home made pasta perfect. I’m of Italian ancestry and have been eating Italian food my whole life and I cannot recall something this delicious, even when we’ve been in Sorrento. The service was attentive and helpful and the owner interested in our thoughts. Highly recommended.More infoCasa Don Alfonso - The Ritz-Carlton St. LouisPrice: Very Expensive• Mediterranean• Clayton•4.3

The dessert portion was excellent. It is way overpriced but still a neat event. Honestly though we will likely skip the tea in future years and just do happy hour at the sushi bar instead. The Tea price is close to the price of afternoon tea at the Plaza in NYC but does not hold a candle to the Plaza’s tea.More infoThe Ritz-Carlton St. LouisPrice: Very Expensive• American• Clayton•4.4
