Betty’s was as always a beautiful place for a treat of afternoon tea, the atmosphere is amazing, food was delicious, great value for money. We visited at 2pm we were not rushed to leave the table so had plenty of time to enjoy ourselves, and to top it all it left us feeling full for the rest of the day. Overall a thoroughly wonderful experience

First rate dining experience. Pre- booked table - prompt confirmation and text reminders re booking date and time. All staff friendly, attentive and efficient. Impressive service - table water offered before meal order and quality of food immaculate. Facilities and ambience to a high standard. All round a great evening out and a dining experience to savour. This was our third visit for Sunday lunch and it was excellent. Two of us had the pate and the terrine starters, very nice but why not provide enough toast to spread them on, one more each would be perfect? Three of us had different roasts that came with a variety of vegetables. It was recommended by the lovely waitress that we order a couple of extra portions of veg as not very generous, glad we did. Didn't have desserts on this occasion but they looked tempting. We got our friends 20% discount which is great, they should ask before producing the bill as it had to be redone . We will be back soon.

This was a perfect experience from start to finish. The staff were welcoming and expert. Our table was ready and we were greeted warmly and seated immediately. The atmosphere was very special - relaxed and comfortable with a lovely festive feel. Staff were keen to help with tea selections from the extensive menu, all served in silver teapots. The afternoon tea was exceptional! A delicious selection of traditional favourites with an elegant twist and the most perfect scones I’ve ever eaten! It was worth every penny and I would say this is a must for anyone visiting Harrogate.

Beautiful meal selected from an interesting menu. Courteous and efficient service from the young waiting staff. Lovely cozy atmosphere on a wintry evening. Would thoroughly recommend.
