Best Restaurants for Local Ingredients in Scarborough

The food was amazing! The futo maki is one of the best sushi’s I’ve ever had. The drinks were great - however, based on the prices of sushi, the drinks were a little expensive ($25). It was my girlfriend’s birthday and the free Prosecco and the wine cork gift made up for it. 9/10 recommendation 🙂

El Catrin never disappoints. The food was excellent. The service was exceptional. We had a group of seven for a holiday celebration with colleagues and they were very patient with us as we chatted and took a bit longer to order. The guacamole is so delicious! And the flight of margaritas was excellent. I shared with a friend. I had the blood orange and hibiscus which were so good. My friend found them a bit sweet. Thank you!

First time Italian cuisine. Wine tasting is a bonus. I learmed a lot tonight. First tasting menu I tired ever with different groups of wine pairing on each dish by a certified wine specialist explaining how the pairing works and how they interwined. Thank you.

I cannot say enough good things about this evening’s dinner. We absolutely loved chef Bennett. The hospitality was unmatched and the food was even better. 5 out of 5 stars. We will 100% be back!

Exemplary food - different tastes that worked so well together. Very reasonably priced - lovely presentation. Students polite, attentive - instructor nice enough to take the time to ask about our culinary experience. Will definitely tell my friends and plan to return.
