Best Restaurants for Local Ingredients in Watertown

There are very few restaurants that can produce food to tickle your tastebuds. Every bite was a superb sensory experience. The two of us ate 5 appetizers and shared a dessert. Our dishes were appropriately paced and arrived in the order that made sense for our palate. We really appreciated the right level of "noise" even though the restaurant was full. This gave us a chance to really talk without worrying that it's too quiet and our neighboring tables will hear us; or too loud so we have to strain beyond our usual conversation voice.

Nice and bright atmosphere, with great options for vegetarians. The food is consistently excellent. The ricotta and squash appetizer is outstanding.

We were greeted at the door and escorted upstairs. Beautiful view of Boston Gardens with a window table. Kind staff and delicious brunch holiday menu!

Our waiter was amazing, he was super sweet and very attentive to all our needs. I also mentioned in our reservation that it was our mom’s 85th birthday. We were about to leave and our waiter stopped us as he had champagne and cake for her. It was truly a memorable night and we cannot thank the Oak Long Bar enough.

I love Forage! It's quiet and peaceful. The wait staff is on top of the whole process and very friendly. The food is excellent and creative. Their cocktails are balanced and delicious. My partner and daughter ordered the tasting menu with wine pairings chosen by the chef. Highly satisfactory!
