Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Downtown Windsor

Takoi is a true Asian-Infused gem in hidden in Corktown. My husband and I shared the chef’s tasting menu, and each dish was a delightful journey of flavors. The use of unique spices and ingredients had us guessing with every bite! What truly stood out was the exceptional service. Our server, along with the rest of the staff, was genuinely attentive and incredibly knowledgeable about the ingredients and flavors used in every dish. Their passion for the food and their commitment to enhancing the dining experience was evident in every interaction. Delightful as always. Lonnaise salad superb, same for chicken breast and lamb chops. Took advantage of Tuesday discount.

We celebrated a 40th birthday with dinner at PAO. The staff was super friendly and did a great job with celebrating the birthday girl even though The staff did seem spread thin at moments. The food was okay. The lamb chops was the best dish ordered. Would go back for dessert and drinks for a birthday but not for dinner.

Great food, service and ambiance! Only gave 4 stars for ambiance because the tables were very close together, made it hard to have a conversation due to noise and lack of privacy.

This was a wonderful experience! I will definitely return.
