Wagyu was off the hook and potato was amazing. - DDarlenevipSan Francisco Bay Area •10 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoHad an extraordinary dining experience with their 10-course meal with their fabulous wine pairing. I really appreciated the wines chosen so thoughtfully that enhanced and complimented the flavors of each dish and was happy to discover some wonderful international wines. Truly a once in a lifetime luxurious experience. Thank you Commis for making my 60th birthday celebration so memorable and special.More infoCommis Dining RoomPrice: Very Expensive• Californian• Oakland•4.9
- JJeffSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoDelicious food that was deeply flavored and surprisingly bright (sometimes soul food can seem super heavy and overwhelming). A perfect brunch spot. I’m eager to bring others and to try their dinner menu. Chef and staff were very pleasant and professional.More infoBurdellPrice: Very Expensive• Soul food• Oakland•4.5
- CCarolSeattle / Eastern Washington •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 16, 2024Best Indian food we have ever eaten, hands down. My hubby is a food snob, hyper critical, never satusfied. Well, we went for dinner ( reservations made , thankfully) and had to go back for lunch! The tandori foods were fabulous, lamb , salmon, chicken, and shrimp. Loved the mango chutney, cashew naan (wow) , portabello mushroom appetizer (amazing), brown rice ( spiced with clove and cinnamon) , cardamom ice cream ( so unique) and the wonderfully patient and kind staff ( Nepalese servers and Indian chefs). Everything was off the charts! We were the last to leave both times so of course we had to leave a 100% tip! We will become regulars whenever in town! Job well done, Ajanta!More infoAjanta RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Indian• Berkeley•4.7
