We have one major focus: the popular German street food - schnitzel. We also have wursts made by local German meat market legend, Binkert's (Rosedale, MD). Other partnerships include a Black Forest Ice Cream Sandwich by Scoop & Paddle (Clarksville, MD).We use fresh meats and vegetables, never frozen. The pretzels are made by hand by an Army vet who learned to make pretzels in Germany after his service. The sauces are made from scratch. Food and drinks were AWESOME! For the 3 of us we bought a Crab Pretzel appetizer and a Combo platter. Service was very good but no serving utensils were provided for our shared side dishes that came with the Combo platter. Since we are family we used our personal utensils but this really should not happen.

This is the 3rd time I’ve dined at Ammoora and I was not disappointed. Dining here is an amazing experience from the time you enter the restaurant and are greeted by the hostess. There were three of us and we ordered multiple appetizers, main courses and desserts. The starters included an order of hummus and warm pita bread. I have it’s the best hummus I’ve ever eaten. All the main courses were amazing. The most amazing was the fall of the bone short rib. I had the kofta kebabs I highly recommend. Our server was exceptional. Gigi was very professional and was extremely helpful explaining the menu. If you have a chance and want to try Syrian cuisine, look no further than Ammoora.
