The newest addition to the Restaurant Collection at SIMON Roosevelt Field mall, Nomiya — which translates to ‘saloon’ — stands as the area’s first izakaya. Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of minimalism, the interior of Nomiya is split between a hickory-accented bar and windowed dining room framed by black granite walls. Guests can pair their meal with one of the eleven premium bottles of sake listed on the menu, such as the unfiltered, cream-colored Yuki Tora Snow Tiger nigori or bright, effervescent Uka Junmai Daiginjo; or opt for a refreshing cocktail made with soju – the national drink of Korea which is commonly distilled from potato.     The Capital Grille is always amazing. From the ambience, to the music, service and of course the food and drinks….everything is fantastic! The staff is extremely professional and accommodating. Special recognition to Jaime who was a delight as our server. She was very knowledgeable about the menu, made excellent suggestions and was a total pleasure to be with. We choose Cap Grille over and over again to celebrate birthdays and will continue to do so! Cheers!

    My granddaughter and enjoyed a very good dinner. The two pastas were delicious. We each had dessert and again were very happy. The food is great, service attentive and very reasonable prices. I’m always happy when I come to Novita.

    This has been my favorite Omakase experience of all. It is a bit pricier than some omakase’s but it is worth the extra money, every single piece was incredible, especially the first dish. Their Valentines special was amazing and I would definitely come back again next year again!
