Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Upcountry

We always enjoy Morimoto’s, lunch or dinner. Beautiful views with a great sunset.

Ka'ana Kitchen is amazing! We ordered the Watermelon Salad and Grilled Octopus Salad for starters Both were so fresh and clean tasting. Entrees we got were the Chicken and Mochi Waffle (which was phenomenal!), Risotto with Snow Crab, and Grilled Fresh Catch. All were delightful and rightfully portioned. Our server David was so attentive and friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant! Don't skip on desserts! We got the Popcorn Cheesecake and it was so good! We will definitely be back if give a chance to come back.

Amazing spot! Try the different experiences during day and the evenings.

We dined at this restaurant January 10, 2025, and had an amazing experience. The menu normally consists of a 6 course meal, however, we got an extra meat course (pork belly!), which was amazing. There were two other meat dishes as well that night: Wagyu beef, which was cooked to perfection, and a lamb and lobster dish, which was just sublime. The presentation was beautiful, and all the ingredients came together very well making each bite a delight to the palate. The other courses included an appetizer, a vegetable dish, palate cleanser and dessert. Wine pairings were offered also. The setting is very intimate with seating for fourteen (I counted 5 tables), and there is only one seating per night (the pacing of the dinner is measured). The restaurant is run by a husband and wife team, with Paulina being the most gracious of hosts and Jeremy working his magic in the kitchen. A must place to eat and a very special treat!

We had a fantastic experience at the chefs table! The food and staff were all amazing. Highly recommend for great food and a fun experience! We had some dietary restrictions due to pregnancy, and they were awesome at accommodating easily!
