Took my partner here for his birthday! It was a overall a great experience!! The staff was wonderful. Our table wasn’t ready when we arrived so we were invited to wait at the bar which was lovely. The staff was great and attentive but not pushy. We loved the food and look forward to going another time! They have valet parking but the area doesn’t have the best parking so be sure to leave time to look for parking. We will definitely be dining there again!! Super romantic and live music playing for a bit made for a beautiful atmosphere.

The Teddy Bear Tea was the perfect afternoon gathering for my daughters and grandchildren. As soon as we sat down, the kids each received their own teddy bear which made them all so happy. The food was plentiful and delicious for both adults and children. The Prosecco flowed, along with delicious tea and the kids loved both the kiddie cocktails and the hot chocolate. There were many children in the room, so no one minded when my grandchildren got overly enthusiastic and got up and danced. It was a wonderful afternoon and a great value, as well!

The dish managed to feel both decadent and restrained, showcasing a mastery of balance. The star of the meal, however, was undoubtedly the whole duck. Presented with flair and carved tableside, it was a feast for both the eyes and the palate. The duck was cooked to perfection—crispy, golden skin encased tender, flavorful meat that paired wonderfully with its accompaniments. It’s clear this dish is a signature for a reason, and it delivered on every promise. The atmosphere at Boka is sophisticated yet welcoming, with warm lighting and chic décor that sets the tone for an upscale yet unpretentious dining experience. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience with excellent recommendations and thoughtful touches throughout the evening. In summary, Boka lives up to its reputation, offering a well-rounded experience that blends culinary artistry wi th impeccable service. The whole duck alone is worth a return visit, and I’m eager to explore more of what the menu has to offer. Highly recommended for a special occasion or a night to indulge in one of Chicago’s finest dining spots.

We had a lovely, memorable evening at Mon Ami Gabi! It had been many years since my last dining experience at this restaurant, and I found the experience even better than I remembered. The ambiance was warm and cozy, the food uniformly excellent (we particularly enjoyed the French Onion Soup, deviled eggs, filet mignon au poivre, and trout), and our server, Eric, was exceptionally warm, gracious, and knowledgeable. Already looking forward to my next dinner at this Lincoln Park gem!

The holiday decor is amazing. Service was great. Service and someone else who checked in on us were friendly and attentive. We went after the holiday for brunch so it was a little quiet for the neighborhood. I;m sure it's more lively at other times. A few normal breakfast type items and a few kinda sweet breakfast items. I had a nice mocktail.
