Best Romantic Restaurants in Clarendon Hills

Excellent food! Ambiance was great. Loved the look & atmosphere a food was a bit pricey. Service was pretty good. It was later in day, but long before dinner rush so service attentiveness was not as good as expected. Had to ask other staff for 2nd glass of wine & coffee since server was not around. We ordered fried calamari appetizer. It was delicious but 99% calamari rings and 1% tentacles.hhmm. None the less delicious! The Branzino was so yummy and good portion but then again $65. So delish.

Our meal at Perry's was as enjoyable as it always is. Our waiter J.D.went out of his way to make it a great evening. We were celebrating my birthday, and he made it feel like a celebration. I would recommend him to anyone dining at Perry's. We will certainly request him the next time we dine there.

Always a great meal. They have adjusted their daily special menu. Delicious. Tom is a great manager. Joanna is a wonderful host and server. They create a felling of eating in their home. Wonderful.

Service here is always amazing which gives it the added bonus to the ambiance. I opted for something different and got the shrimp vegetable salad. I never thought inwoukd eat something called a salad without lettuce but it worked. The salmon gem salad that my friend got was always great. The amount of dressing placed on both was not too much nor too little.

Thassos is a place where families go to have a nice weekend dinner, and so do dates, singles and friends. We made a reservation on Saturday morning on Opentable, and got a 5:30 reservation for 2 in a room that was pretty quiet, and we had the option to sit in a booth. Nice start! We have been here before with family and friends, so we decided just to pick several appetizers to sample more than just two entrees. Our picks--shared a greek salad to start, then ordered charbroiled sardines (great if you love fish), dolmades (stuffed grapevine leaves with minced meat and rice in light lemon sauce) and spanokopita (crispy baked phyllo with feta and spinach inside). Perfect amount of food for the two of us. I had a glass of wine and spouse had a soda. Bill before tax and tip was about $70. I would recommend dining early to avoid a noisy environment because Thassos does get busy after 6 pm.
