Best Romantic Restaurants in Cotswold

Wonderful place to celebrate the holidays! Plenty of parking and eye candy to see as you make your way up the stairs. Menu has wide variety for everyone even picky eaters! Waiter had great recommendations. Lobster rolls with caviar and banana spilt were a must!!! Best place to feel like you’re outside when it’s cold but you are tucked inside where it is cozy!

I cannot remember the lady manager working on 12/23 at 4:30, but absolutely amazing. She was exceptional and very attentive to the patrons of the restaurant. Inessa and the server assistant were phenomenal. It was my first time visiting but I will definitely be back because their customer service was excellent!!!

We found the Fug Tree on Open table and a travel blog recommendation and it was exactly what we were looking for! We had a fabulous time celebrating my daughter’s 23rd birthday trip from Los Angeles -- and met others celebrating their anniversaries. We shared 2 apps, a salad, 1 main, and ordered 3 drinks (2 different cocktails and a glass of wine) — and unfortunately didn’t have room for dessert which we were looking forward to — but they still brought some homemade chocolates on a plate inscribed Happy Birthday with a candle, which was lovely! The wait staff were very personable and took great care of us including splitting shared dishes without being asked. The cocktails were unique and yummy. The food was a fantastic mix of flavors and cooked to perfection. The house was tastefully decorated for the holidays. Compared to LA prices it was at least 50% less expensive than a similar experience — but we did tip a lot more than we usually would since service was fantastic and min wage in NC is about 1/4 of that in CA.

Fantastic meal! Great ambience and service! We started with the Ground Duck Flatbread and both of us agreed that we should cancel the rest of our order and just get two of those. Amazing combination of flavors. Our entrees did not disappoint. I had Grouper and my partner had steak. Both were cooked perfectly. Our waitress was wonderful and suggested drinks for us as well as kept our water glasses full. She was attentive without being in our face. We will definitely go again! They don’t have parking but there is a large parking garage at the same corner.
