Best Romantic Restaurants in Drumcondra (D1)

I had the pleasure of dining at Hawksmoor in Dublin with my daughter, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for our meal. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome and cared for throughout the evening. As for the food—absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was prepared to perfection, showcasing the quality and care that goes into their menu. It was a memorable experience, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Host is a tiny, lively restaurant with very high culinary standards in the heart of Ranelagh. The menu is short but well-balanced with small plates, lots of fresh pasta choices and grilled meat and fish. We were looked after, as if we were VIPs, by the well-informed and super-friendly staff! Early booking advised.

Best steak in Dublin. We are here since before and it was absolutely incredible and it has gotten better. Offering the chef cuts to share is great and it comes with two sides and two sauces. Everything was mouthwatering. We got the Cote De Beouf, bone gravy, pepper sauce, beef dropping chips, duck fat roasties, broccoli Cesar salad, mash and stuffing and it was all so so good. We already wants to go back. Our meal was €150 with three alcoholic drinks and one coke. Completely worth ever cent.

The restaurants ambience was cozy and lovely. The staff was attentive and made sure we were comfortable and not missing anything by our table. You can tell they’re passionate and care about the restaurant. The food tasted amazing and it was fascinating to watch them make the pasta fresh right next to you. We especially loved the bread ;) It was a 10/10 evening and worth the 3 month reservation we had done in advance ;)
