- JJennyvipSan Francisco Bay Area •6 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoWhat a nice and pretty place! I really enjoyed having breakfast here. My only disappointment is that outdoor seating was not available when I came for breakfast. I specifically wanted outdoor seating and made reservation that way. If it was not available, advanced notice would be greatly appreciated. Other than that, the food was good for the price but not the best I’ve had. This would’ve been a five star experience if we could sit outside.More infoKula Lodge & Restaurant, Inc.Price: Expensive• Contemporary American• Upcountry•4.8

Our waiter, Joe, was exceptional as were the rest of the staff. Well worth it and a perfect spot to eat prior to our red-eye flight back to North America!More infoHaliimaile General StorePrice: Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Makawao•4.8
- CChristineHawaii •8 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoCasanova has been a favorite go-to dinner restaurant for my girlfriends and myself for many years. We start off with freshly baked focaccia bread, still warm from the oven, cut into easily manageable single serving cubes, served with a generous portion of olive oil and balsamic vinegar for dipping, and enjoyi our bread while we peruse both the wine offerings and dinner menu. Our choice of wine was a lovely Montepulciano from Italy. Although the antipasti (appetizers) called to us, we bypassed them to save room for the main course. Our entrees this evening included the Mediterranean salad, chock full of crispy fresh greens and veggies, flavorful feta cheese, and kalamata olives in a homemade lemon vinaigrette dressing; Tagliolini Alla Checca, a type of ribbon pasta mixed in with organic spinach, pine nuts, garlic, capers, and fresh Roma tomatoes with a touch of shaved parmesan cheese; and lastly, a classic Italian dish of Fettuccine in a rich creamy sauce—all three of them generous, satisfying servings, leaving no room for dessert. Our waiter Christopher was as charming and efficient as could be, appearing when needed, and leaving us to enjoy our time together without interrupting.More infoCasanova Italian RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Italian• Makawao•4.7
- AAngieHawaii •2 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 10, 2024My husband and I went to Nylos to celebrate our anniversary last weekend. We both thoroughly loved it. The food was impeccable. The menu was creative . The ingredients were fresh and mostly local. The service was excellent. The price may seem high, but it is fine dining and it is an excellent value for the quality of food. I’m looking forward to celebrating other special occasions there in the future.More infonyloSPrice: Very Expensive• French American• Paia•5
