Best Romantic Restaurants in Hyde Park

Hugo was very good! Service and time between courses was good. It was a quiet Saturday afternoon. Even in the dead of winter, view is great. Veal Porcini and raw oysters were superb! Chicken Parm and Shrimp Carbona were good. My Mediterranean salad was wilted. To me, salad is the center of my meal. Tiramisu was delicious. Overall, it was very good and we would return.

This was a great experience from first minute to last - great hospitality around excellent food! We were early, seated quickly and with preferences accounted for. We had scoped six dishes in advance and opted out of one when a waygu Big Mac was offered - a most try! Server knew the menu, understood her role to guide discovery and make sure we had a great meal - 10/10 recommend! Had scallops which were amazing, different than other preparations, and truly stood out. Brussels were his favorite, and were flavorful with a maple item underneath that made it work! Risotto, alcapurrias, and mussels with lobster (only ok) rounded it out with donut dessert. Really really solid and different. Chef Chris came by to say hello - you should too, truly worthy of reputation and ranking!

So cute inside! Great date spot but I wonder if you could also rent out half for an event-it's small and intimate. Love the idea of moderately priced "snacks", many of which were vegetarian. Not the absolute best cocktails, but maybe they're known for something else. We will definitely be back!

The Black Cat at Vee Vee is incredible, delicious and memorable. I keep thinking about the DjonDjon fried rice and butterscotch pudding. The kids adored the fish tacos and chili shrimp tostada. Basically EVERYTHING is delish! The team is awesome and we can’t wait to go back!

Thr live music was great and the service was welcoming.
