- AAnthonyNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoI would highly recommend the tuna appetizer. By far the best item on the menu. The crispy rice cake accompanying the tuna was a perfect pairing. It was slightly oily with the consistency of a potato chip, but added needed crunchiness to the dish. The pork chop was delicious. The sauce was sweet and tangy, not spicy at all to my taste. However, be aware that it is cooked medium with pink in the middle. Same with the duck - cooked medium rare. The duck was also exceptional with no gaminess. I highly recommend both dishes. The chocolate dome was a bit of a disappointment. Although the chocolate was rich and delicious, the entire dessert was rock hard with the sections separating from each other. You really need a knife to eat it. I would definitely return to the restaurant but would order a different dessert.More infoApropos Restaurant at The Abbey InnPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Peekskill•4.5
- JjaneNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe had a lovely lunch at the Thayer. The fried chicken was expertly seasoned and the best I've had. Crunchy where it should be and juicy and tender inside. The Cole slaw was just right. Great snap to the fries. The other dish was the Chicken Salad club. Hit every mark and totally enjoyed it. We also ordered the soup of the day and the only mishap was it was brought out not piping hot. A quick word to the waiter and the soup was retuned and the temperature was corrected. In fairness, most restaurants never serve piping hot soup, which they should. We had a view of the Hudson and the ambiance of the hotel and restaurant is old world elegance. The price was very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. We will definitely go back. It would be a fabulous place to watch the autumn colors. - KKatherineNew York City •16 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 7, 2024The soup special, saffron mussel soup, was fantastic. My husband loved his duck quesadilla appetizer. We both had seafood entrees: linguine with shrimp, and seafood risotto. Both had very large servings of seafood. The shrimp in my linguine were perfectly cooked. The only disappointment: We were so full after our appetizers and entrees that we had no room for dessert. We would have loved to try their apple strudel! A request to the restaurant: Please add some mocktails to your menu.More infoPeter Pratt's InnPrice: Expensive• American• Yorktown Heights•4.8
- KkiawahlizardConnecticut •27 reviews5.0Dined on Mar 17, 2023A great dining experience. The food was excellent. In particular, the roasted chicken breast. The service was equally excellent. The ambiance was outstanding. And, the live jazz, performed by Kristina Koller, made the evening perfect.More infoDivision Street GrillPrice: Expensive• American• Peekskill•4
