We had a table for nine of us in the Rendezvous Room and everyone really enjoyed the experience. We received a great reception on arrival and the service at the table was both efficient and friendly. Most importantly the food and wine were all first class with a special mention for the hen pheasant and the Cotes de Boeuf . I would highly recommend the Cafe de Marche whether you are a deux or for larger parties. A real touch of France in London.More infoLe Cafe du MarchePrice: Very Expensive• French• Barbican•4.7

Whilst in my opinion there was a lot of truffle, which is not to my taste, the restaurant offered to serve the sauce on the side and had made mash without truffle, so for those that don’t like this you are able to enjoy the whole menu. Perfect for couples as very romantic setting but happily go with a larger group as they can accommodate. Service was divine. A real treat as not cheap but ultimately value for money as every detail was looked at and perfected.More infoClos MaggiorePrice: Expensive• French• Covent Garden•4.6
- HHo TingLondon •6 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWent for set lunch today at Cloth. All the food was very good, but the cod brandade starter in particular was amazing - perfectly balanced flavours and beautifully seasoned. The dishes may look and sound simple on the menu but are nicely refined and interesting. The portions are not huge; rather the size was carefully considered for a lunch menu. The flavours were rich but not too heavy, so clearly a lot of thought has been put into the overall design on the set lunch. It also represented good value for money and, as a result, the restaurant was very busy. The atmosphere is quite cosy and noisy due to the low ceilings. Overall I really enjoyed it and would definitely come back!More infoCloth RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Traditional French• Farringdon•4.7
