Best Romantic Restaurants in Lake Forest

Our server, Miranda, was outstanding! Her timing was impeccable, her disposition perfection, and recommendations spot on! We sat in the bar area (high top) near the piano. When making the res I was concerned about noise level. Not an issue at all. Was able to talk at a normal level, hear the entertainment (piano/singer - wow was she phenomenal!), and not be able to hear the tables adjacent to us. AND got to watch the Dallas vs Tampa Bay game. Lemon drop martini (equivalent to 2 martinis), and glass of ZD Chard paired well with prawns (grilled), excellent, Chilean sea bass (panko/parm crusted) and lobster mashed potatoes - all cooked to perfection and timed well. Overall a wonderful evening with my husband.

We love coming here this time of year. This evening everything was perfect. Staff was attentive and caring. Dinner was excellent with soup of the day and wedge salad. We topped it off with apple pie "A La Mode". Great Job Pelican.

My husband and I were celebrating our birthdays. Everyone was nice. The food as always was amazing!! Highly recommend this restaurant.

Always a special treat to dine at The Farmhouse! Loved my burger, our table also loved the Jidori Chicken, and the mussels. The Butternut Squash Soup was reportedly meh. Desserts a bit disappointing today (not usually) — can’t recommend the berry sorbet (odd-tasting), and the Vanilla Pot de crème was a bit bland according to the friend who had the soup. Our waiter was like a warm hug, the kind of server you look forward to his check-ins!

We always love coming here. The staff is always high end in their treatment of each guest. My husband and I weren’t sure what we wanted and decided on pizza - make it simple. The crust is incredible, sauce was perfect. Oh and we hit the jackpot cause Wednesday you buy a pizza and get one - we took the 2nd one home. Great deal!
