The food was excellent! I got the 8oz filet which was cooked perfect. My partner got the stuffed chicken cutlet. The serving size for that was big but she said it was really good. Plenty of leftover to bring home. Service was great. It was still decorated for the holidays which was pretty. We will definitely be going back.

We always have a delicious meal at Max’s, but tonight seemed even more so. I had the brussel and kale salad which had a very light and delicious lemon dressing. Then I had the rainbow trout almondine and it was amazing! My husband loved his plainly prepared scallops as well! My only complaint was we were not offered bread until we’ll after our salads were done and it had to be heated and didn’t come out till we were basically done our entrees.

1st time goi g to Ideal Tavern. Food and drinks were awesome. One special for the night was blackberry bourbon barbecue wings. Amazing!! Will definitely be going back again.
