When I opened my doors in July of 2009, I committed to serving the freshest Italian dishes made from local and seasonal ingredients. I learned early the heart of Italian cooking is the flavor…or sapore. My school of teaching was from the best; my Nonna Elena and Mother Lia. Their philosophy has been carried on in my style of cooking: use simple ingredients and the food will speak for its self.     We were delighted with the exceptional food we enjoyed at Madrina! The appetizer of ricotta cheese, toasted bread and honey sounded simple, but was so delicious. We also enjoyed our entrees, a pasta with shrimp, artichokes, and tasty cream sauce, and pollo Marsala. Both entrees were outstanding. Our server was pleasant and helpful, offering a taste of the wine before we ordered it. The service all evening was great. We can’t wait to go back!

    Another perfect evening. For the appetizer, we went with the Arancini. Light and delicious. The salads were great. House made croutons and dressing were delicious. For entrees, we enjoyed the Veal Parmigiana and Chicken Marsala. Each couldn’t have been better. Full of flavor, perfect portion size. I want to highlight the Gnocchi with the cheese sauce I had on the side. This was heavenly…light but bursting with flavor. Wouldn’t change a thing. 10/10!

    Christmas dinner with my dad. Dover sole and the hanger steak were outstanding. The star of the show was the truffle risotto and the croissant bread pudding was great!
