- BBrianLondon •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis was the best meal I have eaten for years. The taste of the food was wonderful and faultless and the presentation sheer perfection. By far the best restaurant in the North Surrey/South West London area, probably one of the best restaurants in the entire country. Given the quality of the food it is inexpensive. - AAnnieLondon •3 reviews4.0Dined on Oct 31, 2024I love this place. Food good, mostly. But this time the dessert was not quite as hoped with a great deal of ersatz chocolate sauce on profiteroles that were supposed to be caramel, which was disappointing, but the burger and fish finger sandwich were excellent. The service was slow because of a very loud large group next to us who took priority. But we weren’t in a rush luckily. I’m looking forward to the lobster roll being back on as indicated on the website menu, but I always seem to go when it’s not ‘in season’ I am told.More infoMarney's Village InnPrice: Moderate• British• Esher•4.6
