- SSollaLos Angeles •1 review4.0Dined todayCame here at opening (5:30 PM) on President's Day for a date with my husband. Initially, we were amused by the location, which is in a small unassuming strip mall in the outskirks of Koreatown. When entering the restaurant, the ambiance felt cozy, tasteful, and unpretentious. My husband and I shared the following dishes in this order: foccacia with the whipped ricotta + pistachio pesto; plin dell' al langa, rosticciana (dry rub pork ribs) paired with the broccoli chicory caesar. The meal was finished with the pistachio crunch ice cream. I would recommend everything aside from the pork ribs. Not that the ribs were bad by any means; it was just a little underwhelming, especially for the price. But everything else we had was delicious - the foccacia is a must-have. The service was great - the staff were attentive, not pushy, and overall professional. Parking is valet for $10 or street parking. I'm planning on returning again to try the other pasta dishes.More infoAntico NuovoPrice: Expensive• Italian• Hollywood•4.7

Vespertine is not just a restaurant; it is an odyssey, a symphony of senses, a dialogue between space, sound, and taste. Returning after six years, I found myself stepping into a realm where time dissolves and the familiar constructs of dining are reimagined. The architecture, stark yet poetic, sets the stage for an experience that unfolds like a dream—each course a revelation, each sip of wine a new movement in an unfolding sonata. The cuisine at Vespertine is alchemy—flavors that collide and intertwine, textures that surprise, an interplay of hot and cold, soft and crisp, delicate yet profound. Each dish is composed with the precision of an artist and the curiosity of an explorer, designed not only to be eaten but to be felt, contemplated, and remembered. The service is a quiet choreography, an effortless ballet of knowledge and intuition. The servers—guardians of this ethereal space—hold within them a depth of understanding, guiding guests through the journey with a reverence that matches the art they present. From room to room, the experience evolves, shifting in tone, in light, in sensation. Each space within Vespertine whispers a different story, pulling the diner deeper into its gravity, blurring the line between reality and reverie. Six years have passed, yet Vespertine remains a beacon of avant-garde gastronomy, an experience not merely consumed but lived. It is not just a dinner; it is a meditation, a crescendo, an awakening. To dine here is to surrender—to the unknown, to the surreal, to the extraordinary.More infoVespertinePrice: Very Expensive• Californian• Culver City•4.8
- JJeanLos Angeles •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThe lawry cut was so good, like a thanksgiving dinner, had to take home the rest! Loved the shrimp/jalapeno/corn fritters! If you have a chance to go the their bar at the front, I enjoyed the mango rum drink (more on the fruity side and didn’t taste the rum) Went for galentine’s day and was a nice meal to splurge on! The waiters were so nice and accommodating!More infoLawry's The Prime Rib - Beverly HillsPrice: Expensive• Prime Rib• Beverly Hills•4.7

There is always a warm welcome by the entire team and my preferences are remembered.More infoRepubliquePrice: Very Expensive• French• Hollywood•4.7
- MMirandaSan Diego •2 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoOctopus: delicious. No complaints. Perhaps I was hoping for a bigger portion but good regardless. The squid ink pasta: interestingly flavored a little spicy. Not very strong in tomato flavor as I would expect. Tasted more like the north western cuisine of china. Duck confit: so creamy, buttery and tender. Must try. Outside patio is very cute and romantic. The establishment is smaller than I expected but very cute. Service: on time and caring.More infoCento Pasta BarPrice: Very Expensive• Mediterranean• Mid-City•4.7
