Best Seasonal Restaurants in Cary

This place is a real treat. It is expensive but it is a real food experience and not just a meal. Incredible food. We had 4 courses, and then they bring a little something between or before all courses, such as little breads, a pre-dessert, they even brought these little 'corn dogs' that were actually duck, and presented so that they looked like the plant called cat-tails. It is not cheap, but it is an experience that you will like talk about and remember for a long time.

My family went to Colletta tonight to celebrate my daughter turning “18”. I made the reservations and let the restaurant know and our preference of table. We got there and was a perfect corner spot with a wonderful view of the courtyard. A wonderful gift was waiting for her. We were all so surprised at the attention to detail with all the surprises. We started with the Focaccia, and We all had the chicken parmesan. Fantastic choices!! Wonderful taste and a hearty plenty. They brought the cake out and the server even offered to sing alone. lol We didn’t make her do that. It was a wonderful night and Kynlee felt so special. Thank you Colletta for an awesome experience for us.

As always, the service that staff provide is above and beyond. I love to bring colleagues from abroad to experience this high quality, upscale spin on southern food. It really sets a high bar! Of course, we came in like a storm and too many people followed us from the office, and the staff (especially Olivia W) handled it with grace, kindness, and humor. The food is ALWAYS amazing. The presentation of the plates, the quality of ingredients, and the environment just make for an overall wonderful experience. I cannot recommend enough!

This was a birthday dinner and it exceeded our expectations. The combinations of eastern flavors ,like lemongrass, with western cuts of meat like lamb chops was amazing. The sushi was outstanding and just get the real wasabi it’s worth it. Crème brûlée was excellent. Service was wonderful. We will go back.

General Manager, Shelby and our server, Regan saved the day! The restaurant was closed for a private event, so while our reservation should have been cancelled, it was confirmed, three times. Initially by email, which prompted me to text restaurant staff through the Open Table text messaging system, and then call. All confirmed that our 5PM reservation was intact. When we arrived, Event/Salesperson, Jennifer, made a highly disappointing show of disservice, very abruptly saying, "I don't know who you spoke to but we're closed." She was dismissive and rude; didn't allow me to speak and insinuated that I was confused - or lying. Neither are true or acceptable. If Shelby hadn't stepped up and in as she did, my review would have been 1-star across the board. It's surprising to find an event salesperson to be so unable to have a reasonable, professional conversation, without coming in harsh and defensive as Jennifer did. I'm grateful that Shelby clearly values the Sports & Social customer experience. It was a busy night; we had one problem with one lost food item order and somewhat slow service (based on the crowd), but Regan (new server) had a wonderfully kind, positive demeanor. Regan took ownership to correct issues and did a great job with our party of 8. Thank you, Regan for your customer service excellence, and to Shelby for being a true restaurant Professional.
