Best Seasonal Restaurants in Cerritos

I went with a friend who had never been to North Italia. Despite their rather recent opening, everything went smoothly. Our meal was delicious, service was terrific and a very minor hiccup was corrected before we even realized it had happened. I highly recommend this restaurant.

A creative prix fixe menu did not disappoint. Highlights of our December dinner were the shrimp & dip and octopus skewers, seared diver scallop and mussels and four way duck. Service was friendly and efficient. The repurposed interior of this craftsman style home is light, simple and open, creating a casual dining experience. We opted to share a single wine pairing, which featured a variety of exciting and offbeat California wines. Valet parking is available but we were able to find street parking close by in this crowded residential neighborhood. Heritage is a standout in the local Long Beach/North Orange area. We are looking to return when the new menu arrives in 2025.

From making a reservation to leaving, all was exceptional. Must haves include: the Artichoke and spinach appetizer with homemade chips followed by either the Beef dip sandwich (which never disappoints), or the Lobster roll (with plenty of lobster), and terrific sweet potato fries. Dessert and French Press coffee are a real treat. Be sure to have the Pistachio Chocolate Tiramisu. There are no lattes here, just good coffee. Service with a smile is what you receive at 908.

Our server was Outstanding. I haven’t experienced service like that in a long time. I would definitely go back for that kind of service. Our server’s name was Carmen.
