We've been serving the people of Braintree and beyond since 2015 and in that time have humbly become ‘one of Essex’s best restaurants.’ We have received recognition from the AA, having been awarded an AA Rosette for ‘culinary excellence’ for five consecutive years, and then in 2023 we received our second rosette, putting the restaurant amongst the top 10 restaurants in Essex. Our food is of course one of our main focuses, but we don’t just stop there. Attentive, relaxed and friendly service is as important as the food and our objective is to make your visit an enjoyably memorable one.     Me & my daughter have been before (her verdict - “the best burgers in the country”!) but we wanted to take my husband to show him what all the fuss was about. So we decided to take him for lunch. We travelled the 45 mins to get there & were not disappointed! The service & the food was excellent! We all enjoyed our meals & will definitely be back again. We were sorry we didn’t get our waitress’s name but she was excellent - even accommodating our daughter’s fussy request for “burger & bun, nothing else, no green, just brown & beige!” As my husband said on the way home, “why isn’t this closer to our house so we can go more regularly?” Highly recommend this place! 5/5
