The customer service was excellent. The cod fish fritter were salty. The oxtails were tough but tasty. The Gríot was great. The shrimp and grits were good but the grits were hard. The Lychee martini and Lemon drops could use less favor qnd a little more alcohol. They charge gratuity for a party of 3 but it was fine.

The food was incredible . Umami for sure. The staff was also amazing. The woman who seated and served us was extremely helpful and attentive to everyone in the restaurant at once. She ran that room like a pro to say the least. It was New Year's day as well the place was packed on a holiday and the staff was taking care of a full restaurant and take-out orders that seemed non stop for the 90 minutes we were there. They earned and deserved the Michelin star. And I loved the sketches of the restaurant that were hung throughout the restaurant among the many old photos . Will definitely be back soon.

Breakfast at J’s On The Bay. No better way to start my New Year, a perfect way for you to start any day. With dishes as simple as eggs, potatoes, country-style toast, and bacon to Apple Butternut French Toast, J’s On The Bay deserves to be on your 2025 Resolutions List. We really like Olivier Bistro with its very friendly vibe, excellent food (always!) and great service. You will feel welcome there and will have a fine meal.

The dinner was spectacular in every way. Hygge in New York! The atmosphere was cozy, congenial and filled with Christmas cheer. Flowers and soft candle light everywhere. The punterelle salad was perfectly dressed with ample anchovies, the sea bream en papillote was tender and infused with deep flavor. Add a perfectly balanced negroni sbagliatto to start and the evening was perfect.
