- DDiannePalm Springs / Palm Desert Cities •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoHighly recommend this restaurant We were a family of 10 and received the best meal and service of our vacation. Our server was friendly attentive and fun. The food was outstanding. There was live music that was enjoyable as background music. Not too loud and a talented musician. Only problem is they are so popular you need to reserve long in advance but well worth the effort.More infoTommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar - Mauna Lani, Big IslandPrice: Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Kamuela•4.8
- RRobVIPNew York City •10 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoGreat meal with our ohana. Chef Allen and his team executed the dinner service to perfection. From the standard menu appetizers and steaks, to the elevated preparation and presentation of the catch of the day (4lb Onaga). Everything was on point!More infoFORCPrice: Very Expensive• Farm-to-table• Kamuela•4.5
- EellenVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •16 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoBoth food and service were amazing. I was stuffed but the scallops were so delicious I a finished them anyway. Mahi mahi skewers were equally delicious. Indiana was our server and terrific. Would return in an instant. The bread they included at no charge which is rare these days was a treat, served warm and yummyMore infoMeridiaPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Kohala Coast•4.7
- OTOpenTable DinerSacramento / Sacramento Valley •3 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 18, 2024Thanks to our wonderful waiter, Dustin, who was able to explain the new changes to the menu, especially the gluten free options. We were able to enjoy some favs as well as try something new! We decided to split five menu items for the two of us. All five were a thumbs up, and all could be altered if necessary to be gluten free. What a treat! We shared the snap peas with goat cheese, pine nuts and mint. Yum. The corn ribs with truffle butter are so good. The Kekala Farm salad was unique with its edamame dressing and chili oil. Very large salad, so way to split. We loved the fingering potatoes with mustard and a soft cooked egg on top. The catch of the day was mahi mahi in a delicious ume butter sauce. Two pieces! The kimchi with the fish was served on the side as it had gluten. My husband thought it was a little too spicy, and would order the fish without next time. We skipped dessert as the only gluten free option that sounded good included a coffee crust and would have to be altered. Need to find more options there, but we were really full so it was ok! Dustin explains everything and gives great advice. We skip drinks because of super high prices, and just eat more food and drink later! Beautiful night. Can’t wait to go back just like we have done for over thirty years!More infoCanoeHousePrice: Very Expensive• Creative Japanese• Kamuela•4.7
- JJeannieVIPSan Diego •24 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 12, 2024Hotel is under construction, but don't let that stop you from having a fabulous meal with a great view. The entire staff is impeccable, from check in person to bartender to server to the bus boy. If you are in the area or want to take a drive north from Kona, we highly recommend this establishment.
