Best Seasonal Restaurants in Saint Margaret’s at Cliffe

We happened on this restaurant by chance and am very pleased we were able to secure a reservation. Lovely location right on the harbour with gorgeous views. The restaurant is designed brilliantly so all guests get to enjoy the view. The staff made us feel exceptionally welcome from the beginning. We had our young son with us and everyone made a real fuss off him which immediately put us at ease. Very attentive staff, delicious food and wine. Great menu for children also! Restaurant had such a lovely relaxed vibe. If you love seafood it’s a must. Will definitely be returning.

Fabulous food Flavours unexpected but worked so well Best Minestrone soup ever ! We had Turbot with citrus sauce ( who knew ) brilliant flavours ! Service great , A really good “ farmhouse vibe “ Relaxed but cool and stylish Maybe bit drafty?? . There were heaters above which were timed we think but sitting near wall with vine coming through and breeze around feet and legs ,, !, but we’re old so feel it more keenly than others younger end !! When we came in a lot of smoke in space but it cleared after 45 minutes. But no lingering after smells and we quite liked the ambience smoke gave !! We will be back !! Brilliant place -👍

Went many times , simply a lovely place to lunch or dine .

Lovely valentines meal for two couples. Free glass of prosecco / non alcoholic drink if preferred on arrival . Food lovely . Would definitely book again .

Always a nice place to eat, the Sunday Lunch Menu is very reasonable.
