- GGwenMinneapolis - St. Paul •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoGw Fins Restaurant Review Gw Fins is truly a gem! We recently dined there to celebrate an early retirement, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The atmosphere was sophisticated yet welcoming, ideal for such a special occasion. The star of the evening was undoubtedly the food. We had the swordfish and the Ahi Tuna, and both dishes were over the top in terms of flavor and presentation. The swordfish was perfectly cooked with a delicate, buttery texture, while the Tuna was an absolute standout – fresh, vibrant, and bursting with bold flavors. Every bite felt like a celebration in itself. The service was impeccable, with the staff making us feel genuinely celebrated. From thoughtful wine pairings to their attention to detail, they elevated the experience to another level. Gw Fins exceeded all expectations and made our milestone celebration unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone seeking exceptional seafood and a memorable dining experience!More infoGW FinsPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• French Quarter•4.9
- LLukas LundToronto / Ontario •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoBest food we had in New Orleans! Well balanced, great taste and for once (which is very rare in the US apparently), normal portion size instead of those xxxxl portions you get over here. As always a little bit expensive, but definitely worth a visit!More infoJewel of the SouthPrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• French Quarter•4.8
- PPamNew Orleans / Louisiana •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe very large black woman who greeted us was unprofessionally and inappropriately dressed for the position she held. Then she had to have help finding our reservation that we made 3 days before. Our waitress, Ellen, was pleasant at first, but got an attitude when I asked for bread. Another wait staff stepped in to answer my question, and Ellen bristled at that. Speckled trout is my favorite fish, and I've had it many times and also cooked it myself, but the trout last night was mediocre at best, and the presentation was poor. The meal was very expensive, $245.00.More infoRalph's on the ParkPrice: Expensive• Creole• Mid-City / City Park•4.7

The food was amazing (remember to order the bread pudding in advance!) and we will be back.More infoRed Fish GrillPrice: Moderate• Seafood• French Quarter•4.5
