- JJonLondon •6 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 14, 2024Really well worth a visit. Staff were very good and attentive. Everywhere was clean and comfortable. We chose just main and dessert. Steak for main, mine was slightly chewy but husbands was spot on so must have been the cut. I had ice cream which was delicious and husband had cheese & biscuits so we could share. Perfect evening and perfect wines. Booked in again for tomorrow night as we are staying in the cottage right next door, which is also excellent 🤩More infoPercy Arms HotelPrice: Moderate• British• Alnwick•4.6
- KKathrynNewcastle and Northumberland •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 14, 2024Scallops with black pudding were so good last time, both of my sisters had it this time as well as me - still as amazingly awesome as before!! Brother in law (who's birthday treat it was) had the gravadlax and reckoned it was excellent. One sister shared the Fish Platter with me - it was amazing, mussel broth was delicious and lobster and crab claws were really good too. The only downside was it was sooo huge we didn't get close to finishing it!! It would definitely do three easily - lesson learned for next time! We would have loved to try puddings but we were all so full by that time we had to pass :-( Also really enjoyed the Albarino - I have been drinking the Portuguese one but the NZ one was really good too. A lovely evening with excellent service and good food and company - Thank you very much and hope to see you again soon!More infoThe Potted Lobster - BamburghPrice: Expensive• Fish• Bamburgh•4.7
- PPamNewcastle and Northumberland •9 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 11, 2024Convenient location nr town centre, with plenty of parking nearby. Staff friendly and helpful, service time acceptable. Food good and inexpensive. Looking a bit rough round the edges but just been taken over so hopefully will be fixed (toilets mainly).More infoThe Plough, AlnwickPrice: Moderate• Pub• Newcastle upon Tyne•3.3
