Best Seasonal Restaurants in Palm Springs

While we don’t frequent Tropicale, when we do “think” to visit the establishment we always say “We need to come here more often!”. The food and service is always excellent, awesome value for the money! And the atmosphere is always relaxed, inviting while still being just a touch up-scale. We enjoyed an evening of appetizers, cocktails and dinner; eight of us! Not one suggestion for improvement. To top it all off, everyone had smiles on their faces. We have promised ourselves to not let our memories lapse and more frequently take advantage of all Tropicale has to offer!! I could name two or three other local establishments, all on Palm Canyon, that draw locals (us) and visitors. Tropicale is FAR superior in every aspect. You won’t be disappointed. I strongly suggest reservations.

Zin is by far THE BEST restaurant in downtown Palm Springs. The staff is friendly, attentive, and goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. The menu is a medley of delicious options - a foodie’s delight! The wine list is exceptional, plus the cocktails and beer options are a plenty. We had a wonderful family dinner here and all of our guests raved about their experience. Cheers to the entire Zin team!

Xmas dinner was fantastic start to finish! I have been many times and always one of the best meals in Palm Springs. There set 3 course Xmas dinner had many choices. We loved our Blood Orange martini and Bourbon egg nog cocktails! Thank you Beth for making things so festive! Starters of divine shrimp salad cocktail that I will go back for and a savory potato leek soup with crabmeat and pumpernickel croutons. Amazing veal schnitzel with all the fixings and stunning half roast duck with cherries and braised red cabbage. Bread pudding and profiteroles for dessert.

We took our family to The Colony Club for brunch on Christmas Day! The staff were amazing and the food was incredible. They also called on the front end to verify we wanted brunch and not the prie fixe Christmas Day menu. We had a wonderful time and always do. Thank you!
