- RRoseVIPNew York City •23 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoChef Scott Fratangelo keeps reinventing himself. A magnificent filet mignon with chestnut purée and oyster mushroom cream sauce with dijon was as superb as anything you would receive in any super high ended restaurant anywhere. Chef Heather’s desserts continue to shine and surprise, of late a sensational eggnog panna cotta and intense warm chocolate tart. Sous Chef Mike is such an asset. Server Javier is the best there is and Francisco has been mixing some mean cocktails. After 11 years, L’Inizio continues to dazzle. Do make sure you try a meal here as you will not be disappointed.More infoL'inizioPrice: Expensive• Italian• Ardsley•4.8
- KKalenNew York City •14 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThis is one of my favorite restaurants food -wise in the Tarrytown area and we adore the owner and his family. It's casual feeling with upscale food. The sandwiches and burgers are great value. Some of the appetizers and main courses are a bit expensive for a casual-feeling place, but if you understand that up front you can enjoy a wonderful meal without getting dressed up. There are always some fabulous specials to select from plus enough basics to satisfy less adventurous eaters. The market up front gives the place a special feeling and it's a wonderful place to stock up on some gourmet treats. The cheese and olive selections are standouts.More infoMint Premium FoodsPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• Tarrytown•4.7

Then shared 2 mains from the specials - lobster pasta and cod. Portions are generous and always served hot. Great cocktails and sangria too.More infoOlar NosoPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• Northvale•4.8
- CChristineVIPNew York City •32 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 29, 2024I've been wanting to eat here for a long time so brought my west coast sister and nephew who were craving NY pizza. Our server was awesome! The front room has a funky, lively vibe. The food was ok. My nephew had the margarita, sis had the lemon pizza and I had the pepperoni version. For someone who ate often at a famed Bushwick establishment, Parlor is only 80% as good by comparison. The crust here is too dense for me. Our salad was great but the calamari order was over-fried and our drinks were poor approximations of an old fashioned. Maybe it was just an off night given other reviews have inspired me to put this on my "must go" list. Still better than most pizza in lower Westchester and the location is iconic Rivertown so I'd say give it a try.More infoThe ParlorPrice: Moderate• Pizzeria• Dobbs Ferry•4.8
