- AAndreaVIPLas Vegas •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Avant! The ambiance was perfect, feeling luxurious and special. The food was delicious, and the cocktails were on point! My husband and I actually had a lovely massage earlier at RB Inn's amazing spa and then cleaned up to have dinner after at the Avant. It was the most relaxing, wonderful date and was much needed in this busy holiday season. We will definitely be back!More infoAVANTPrice: Expensive• Californian• Poway / Rancho Bernardo•4.5
- MMikeVIPSan Diego •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoHave always loved Rosina's and it has only gotten better over the years. We really like the furnishing in the new room across the patio. With the original room, the patio and the new room Rosina's has really gone to a new level. In the old days we enjoyed Rosina walking around and talking to people but last night the place was so busy that she only had time to say hi. But that's okay...shows how popular it is. We also like the small personal touches. The hostess told my wife how she really liked her new hairstyle. Not only was that nice and thoughtful, it showed and warm and personal touch. And finally the food never disappoints. Don't worry about trying to choose the best thing on the menu. It is all great!!!More infoRosina's Italian RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Italian• Poway / Rancho Bernardo•4.8
- JJamesHawaii •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 28, 2024The food was fantastic, I will be going again. A couple of my top favorites was the stuffing and mashed potatoes, the flavors reminded me of the times I spent TG at my grandmothers. The way the buffet was set up including the carving station resulted in little time to fill your plate. The Staff was very gracious and there was someone always checking the table and asking if you needed anything with a quick turnaround when you did need something. I would recommend the RB Inn for anyone who wants to take a break from the long hours in the kitchen on TG Day. It is every bit worth the cost.More infoEvents at Rancho Bernardo InnPrice: Very Expensive• American• Poway / Rancho Bernardo•4.2
- JjeffSan Diego •21 reviews4.0Dined on Nov 28, 2024We had only just recently discovered The Shop, and figured we'd check it out. After sharing a yummy bruschetta appetizer, we decided to design our own pizza. Admittedly, we made a minor error in ordering a large pizza (for two to share), but figured leftovers would be fine to take home. When the pizza came to our table, all of our toppings were huddled in the middle of the pizza. We were a little confused as to how none of the veggies had made it closer to the edge. With the pile of toppings in the middle, the center of the pizza was more than a little soggy. It was still tasty, but not all the way to the crust. It was a little weird. More, because we decided that the limited selection of specialty pizzas didn't strike our fancy (do people still say that?), we ordered our own combination of vegetables for our pizza. In the end, our pizza came out to $45-- steep even at San Diego prices. Aside from the pile of toppings in the middle, each topping ($3.50 for each topping?! Outrageous!) was far overpriced for the amount of toppings used. (Note: the price per topping is listed, but it's a bit of an afterthought on the menu and the server provided no reminder). It will be a long time before we decide to drop a pile of cash on an overpriced pizza that was rushed through the kitchen. Overall rating: Disappointing.More infoThe Shop - Rancho BernardoPrice: Moderate• Pizzeria• Poway / Rancho Bernardo•4.5
