Best Seasonal Restaurants in Upwey

First time at Steak Ministry and we will definitely come back. We had steak as you do at a steak restaurant and we were not disappointed, tender, moist and delicious, could not stop eating as the twice cooked potatoes and the cous cous salad also fabulous. Highly recommend.

delicious range of vegetarian and vegan options beautifully presented in a lovely tranquil garden setting. We loved the attention to detail and the range of seating options. The service was warm and responsive. we couldn't fault this place in any way. Thanks for deftly managing a memorable occasion for us.

I asked if they would do a veg. Lasagne and I got a message telling me as of tonight they would be serving one and boy was it worth the wait. The food was delicious and the virgin pina colada was lovely. We will be returning very soon.

We dined here for an early dinner starting with a dozen fresh oysters & a glass of Prosecco for golden hour. It was a lovely evening so we sat out side in the court yard & had our oysters, then got escorted to our table when our entrees were ready. It was a lovely way to start the evening. Then we shared the duck liver parfait, prawns & a tomato salad. For mains we couldn’t decide so we ended up sharing the pork belly & the barramundi which were both Devine! After all this food we had to share the basque cheese cake to top off a wonderful evening.

At the base of the Sherbrooke Forest just out of Belgrave is this little distillery is a gem. With private nooks, outdoor seating & tasting area, it has something for everyone. The cocktails are as fancy as the food and staff are lovely and attentive. As a local, I love to take my interstate & overseas guests here to showcase what great places we have here in the hills.
